Question: Why does my anti-virus software detect a virus in the application?

| Answer: Some customers have notified us that their virus detection program reported our product as having the PE_ZMORPH virus, or some variation. Our product does not have a virus. The major antivirus products, Norton and McAfee are fine. The anti-virus sofotware can report the virus if the customer does not have updated virus definitions. Please update your software's pattern definition files to resolve this issue.
We contacted the makers of Norton's Anti-Virus and MacAfee and they assure us that the latest virus pattern will not report the virus in our software. |
